Civil Rights
My Civil Rights section discusses all of the racial discrimination and inequality that African Americans have had to deal with at one point in America. Segregation issues and protests for racial equality are covered as well. Slavery ended in 1865 when Abraham Lincoln ratified the 13th Amendment, yet as late as the 1980s, there was still a battle for racial equality.
Civil Rights Movement
This artifact is first because it talks about how the Civil Rights Movement started, and what major events occurred to get the movement as far as it was in the 1950s and 1960s. The next artifact talks about how there still wasn't true freedom and equality for blacks in the 1960s, and talking about the hope for a brighter future. They both provide a general feel for what the issue of civil rights is all about.

I Have a Dream...
This artifact talks about the lack of equality between blacks and whites, as well as how there are still few rights for blacks despite 100 years passing since slavery ended. The next series of artifacts all correlate with the Civil Rights Movement, each providing specific examples of injustice and inequality.

All Eyes on the Prize artifacts talk about how there were many civil rights issues in the 1960s, and the next artifact also talks about civil rights issues in the 1960s. The previous artifacts cover a more broad span of topics, while the next artifact talks about specific inequality issues between blacks and whites.
